- Identify the process
Although the decision to outline processes is a good step, the first real step is to choose the process to work with. It is advisable to outline the most important processes first. 3. Record and arrange
After determining the process with start and end point, it is important to describe the steps that bring the process to an end. For each activity, use an action verb to describe the steps. 4. Draw the flowchart
